Rotasea: Maritime Crew & Fleet Management
2026 · Active development · Platform
A maritime crew and fleet management platform: companies, vessels, crew roster and pool, allocations, and role-based dashboards for shipowners, fleet managers, crewing managers, and captains.

Overview
Rotasea is built around the crew lifecycle rather than a single dashboard. It models companies and vessels, a crew roster and crew pool, and vessel allocations, then presents role-specific dashboards for shipowners, fleet managers, crewing managers, and captains. The backend is a Laravel 11 API with Sanctum authentication and Spatie role/permission handling; the front end is React + TypeScript; data lives in MySQL 8 with Redis, and Laravel Reverb carries realtime updates. It ships as a Docker Compose stack that migrates and seeds itself on first boot.
