SnapInvois: WhatsApp-Native Invoicing Platform

Overview

Designed, built and shipped SnapInvois end to end as a solo founder: a WhatsApp Business API bot paired with a Next.js merchant dashboard. Merchants type items in the chat, or photograph a supplier chit, and get a branded PDF invoice with a DuitNow QR in seconds. The same thread doubles as record keeping: notes and photographed receipts are saved, OCR pulls out the supplier, date, total and line items, and every record exports to an Excel workbook or summary PDF from the dashboard. The dashboard also carries invoice search and filters, CSV export, duplicate-and-send, customer and product catalogues, quotations, logo and template branding, and a free tier enforced identically in chat and dashboard. Underneath: exact-decimal money with a balance assertion, a Postgres-backed job queue for overdue reminders, a payment audit trail recording who marked what and when, WhatsApp-verified login, 338 tests, strict TypeScript and CI/CD with zero-downtime Docker deploys.
